We headed to Mexico on Tuesday morning starting with the 3hr drive from Aarhus to Copenhagen at 2.30am, managed to get our several kilos overweight luggage checked without a problem and then flew via London with a 10hr flight from London to Dallas. Despite 3hrs layover in Dallas and our luggage checked through to Guadalajara, we had to run to catch our final flight because of the fantastic efficiency of US customs.
Arriving at the plane in time for the doors to close behind us, the plane then sat at the gate for a further 2 hours anyway because of cosmetic damage to the exterior of the toilet.
Day one was official practice. It was a cool 30 C with light winds. We had a great day shooting arrows and catching up with old friends and making a few new ones. we 
even managed to get a little sunburned. Versus pulls some big names including Dave Cousins, Michael Sclosser, Erika Anschutz and Albina Loginova. Lunch was provided at the local taco bar and there was a question and answer session with the international shooters for the locals. Day two is the ranking round. With shooting starting at midday.
